Cheap Business and First class from New York to Tokyo
Flying out of New York
Three international airports serve New York.
JFK - John F. Kennedy International Airport
JFK is virtually synonymous with international travel to New York. It has been the city’s main international airport for many years and handles over 25 million passengers annually. Located in Queens, at the southern tip of the Van Wyck Expressway, it is also used for a small number of domestic flights.
LGA - LaGuardia Airport
LGA is New York’s primary domestic airport but is now used by some airlines like Continental as an international hub. Almost 13.5 million people passed through LaGuardia’s gates in 2016.
EWR - Newark International Airport
Situated in Newark, New Jersey, Newark Airport is used by both domestic and international carriers. Its facilities are more modern and it is less crowded than JFK and LGA. However, it is slightly further from the city centre than they are.
Flying into Tokyo
Tokyo is served by two international airports – Haneda and Narita. Different airlines use one or the other and while the facilities at each are virtually identical, the most important factor in a traveller’s choice of airports is often the distance of each from Tokyo.
HND - Haneda Airport
Haneda Airport is just 15 km from the centre of the city, making it the most convenient stop for anyone short on time. By rail, the commute from Haneda to Tokyo takes just half an hour.
NRT - Narita Airport
Narita Airport is situated not in Tokyo, but in Chiba prefecture, 65 km away. A train ride to Tokyo from Narita will take over an hour.
Why Fly First Class?
Please don’t confuse I Fly First Class with the standard travel concierge - we are so much more.
Our focus is not simply on finding you a premium seat on a flight, we get you that seat even after everyone else has told you they are not available. We find you the lowest prices on first class and business class seats available anywhere.
The shortest flight time from NY to Tokyo is 13 hours 55 minutes. That is an incredibly long time to be stuck in a cramped, hard seat.
In first and business class, you will have access to more personal space all around – larger legroom, wider armrests, even an individual cabin on certain airlines. Premium class seats recline completely flat so you will arrive in Tokyo rested and ready for work, play or both.
The food, drink and entertainment options are a world part, too. Good wine, chef-prepared meals, large personal screens and high-quality headphones add to the pleasurable experience.
