Cheap Business and First class from Los Angeles to Tokyo
Flying out of Los Angeles
Los Angeles is served by three international airports but only the largest of the trio one handles flights between L.A. and Tokyo – LAX, Los Angeles International Airport.
LAX is not only the largest and busiest international airport in Los Angeles, but it is the largest and busiest on the entire western coast of the United States. Last year, almost 81 million passengers flew in or out from LAX.
You can travel directly to every continent in the world except for Antarctica from LAX. Tokyo is a popular destination with no less than 6 major international carriers flying there.
Flying into Tokyo
Haneda and Narita Airports are the two international airports serving Tokyo. While the facilities at each are virtually identical, the most important factor in a traveller’s choice of airports is often the distance of each from Tokyo.
Delta Airlines is the only airline that operates out of Los Angeles only to Haneda. United, Singapore Airlines and Japan Airways fly exclusively between Los Angeles and Narita. All Nippon Airways and American Airlines fly to both Haneda and Narita.
HND - Haneda Airport
Haneda Airport is just 15 km from the centre of Tokyo city. It is the better option for travellers short on time. The commute from Haneda to Tokyo takes just half an hour by the efficient rail network.
NRT - Narita Airport
While serving Tokyo, Narita Airport is actually situated in Chiba prefecture, 65 km from the capital. It takes at least an hour to travel from Narita to Tokyo by train.
Why Fly First Class?
The shortest direct flights between LA and Tokyo are in the air for almost half of an entire day – 11 hours and 20 minutes. When you are stuck in a cabin for such a long time, the inflight experience can make a huge difference to how you look and feel when you arrive at your destination.
It is not a matter simply of the better food and better seats - although a customised chef-prepared meal and double beds that lie flat in your private cabin offered by Singapore Airlines do make a difference. No, it is the entirety of premium service in premium surrounds that leaves you better physically and mentally at the end of your trip.
With you choose a first class or business class seat, you get that excellent experience every time.
